California Forum and “The Gathering” Coming Soon

Every year, the unofficial group of allied professionals loosely known as “the California Forum” gathers in San Diego in early February to discuss the latest and greatest techniques in wealth creation, management, and estate, business and tax planning.  This year, The Gathering (as it is now known) will be held at the Sheraton San Diego Hotel and Marina, on Harbor Island Drive. 

City of Dreams Wows San Francisco Urban Kids With Toys, Trees and Guests (Us!)

Our law clerk, “K-Rod” (Kevin Rodriguez) has been a supporter of the City of Dreams project  for several years, having mentored an at-risk 8^th grader, asked us to spend some time and energy to help this non-profit charity deliver on its annual “Day of Giving” commitment to hundreds of kids in San Francisco housing projects.  There were sponsors (getting the lists from the kids and going out and buying the toys – our firm), elves (wrapping the toys – K-Rod, Trevor, Malissa & Megan) and “Santas” (delivering the toys – K-Rod, Trevor, Heidi, Peter & family).

MLF's Float for Habitat for Humanity a Success

The Myers Law Firm spent last weekend riding on a toy soldier float in the Oakland Tribune Holiday Parade in honor of the East Bay Habitat for Humanity. Like all such holiday activites, it was a lot more fun than any of us anticipated, especially those who have never done the parade thing before.

Never having been a politician, there's nothing so affirming as having 10,000 complete strangers wave and smile at you.  And all you need to do is wave and smile back.

At last, our team has moved into its home for at least the next seven years.

Now at 100 Spear Street, we have easier parking, easier access to public transportation, and a good selection of nearby restaurants.
